On August 28, the Trường Học Bridge in Bình Phú Hamlet, Đức Huệ Commune, Tây Ninh Province, was officially inaugurated amidst the joy and excitement of the local residents. This is the 12th bridge in the series “Bridge to Knwoledge” community activities and is the 6th bridge that E-XPRO is proud to accompany its partner Bridgestone Vietnam and the local authorities. The event is not only meaningful in terms of transportation infrastructure but also marks an important step in the journey of fulfilling the mission of “Caring for the Community” which E-XPRO has steadfastly pursued for many years.

From Urgent Need to Concrete Action

Before the new bridge was built, the road to school for many children in the area was a journey full of anxiety. The old bridge had severely deteriorated: the wood was rotting, the structure corroded, and it shook violently whenever people or vehicles crossed. During the rainy season, rising water levels and the slippery surface made the risk of accidents even greater. This situation was not only inconvenient but also directly threatened the safety of students, the elderly, and workers traveling back and forth.

Nguyen Kim Anh, a 5th-grade student at Bình Hòa Nam Primary School, shared:

“Every time I crossed the old bridge, I felt it shaking and got really scared. I always wished there would be a new, sturdy bridge so I could go to school with peace of mind.”

The voices of the community were a call to action. E-XPRO listened and collaborated with Bridgestone Vietnam, the Đức Huệ Commune authorities, and the construction unit to turn this dream into reality.

The new Trường Học Bridge was built with durable reinforced concrete, 30 meters long, 3.5 meters wide, with a load capacity of 5 tons, two solid concrete abutments, and four prestressed centrifugal concrete girders that meet modern technical standards. The structure ensures safe travel for pedestrians, motorbikes, and small trucks. This is not just a bridge but a commitment to safety, sustainability, and community development.

E-XPRO – Creating Social Value Through Action

The Trường Học Bridge project is proof of E-XPRO’s commitment to serving society through perseverance and determination in overcoming challenges. E-XPRO remains steadfast in its mission, aiming to make a positive impact on the community and the local area.

Through this project, E-XPRO has helped improve the quality of life for more than 400 local residents, opened a safe road to school for hundreds of students, and supported farmers in transporting their produce more conveniently, boosting local trade and economic development.

The Connection

Every bridge is a symbol of connection — connecting the two sides of the river, connecting opportunities, and connecting the footsteps of rural children to their schools. E-XPRO believes that investing in community projects is not only an investment in infrastructure but also an investment in the future, in knowledge, and in the sustainable development of society.

The inauguration ceremony of the bridge took place in a joyful atmosphere, with the participation of Bridgestone Vietnam, local authorities, residents, students, and representatives from E-XPRO. The laughter of the children as they experienced crossing the new bridge was the clearest proof of the project’s success.
